Part two - 1 yr check up

Sorry - picking up where the last post ended- 33 1/2 inches long (100
percentile)

Cib is racked out in the back seat and we are waiting for Daddy to
meet us for lunch- Mexican: Cibbers favorite. The doctor calmed my
fears about Cib's eating habits aka the bottomless pit. Cib can eat
until his heart is content.

1 year check up

Wow! Shots, blood draw and gold fish - oh my!!
Cib did great at his one year check up, shots and all. We both had a
little trouble with the blood draw. The woman actually scoldede for
crying.

Doctor says Cib is "remarkable". We sure think so ! :) he has lost
some weight. 28 pounds (95 percentile) and 3

Seaside Recap

As I sit here and look at another beautiful sunset I think - Do I really have to go home?!

Here is a recap of our July. It has been a whirl wind but this much needed vacation at the end of a stressful year was a wonderful blessing.

The sunsets have been really amazing!

The Beach was beautiful and Cib loved the sand and the waves. This trip has been one of many gold fish. Cib has mastered eating from snack trap and offering Mommy the occasional gold fish.

Cib is also waving hi and bye now! As well as saying hi and bye! I have been working on this for ...well....a year and it is awesome see new lights come on for Cib every day.

What a great summer end trip!
(oh wait! I live in Houston we still have what? like four more months of summer - ugh) :)

A prayer for sweet baby Cib:

Lord,
There are days I do wholly know that I am unworthy of this amazing blessing you have given me - Our sweet Baby Cib. Thank you Lord for giving us this gift, despite insurmountable odds. Lord, please forgive me for crying out to you in anger when I was sure I would never meet this precious one. Please help me Lord. Help me to daily turn to you for help in raising this beautiful child to be a man who fears and loves you. Lord I pray that Cib will be filled with your peace and joy. I thank you for the joy he brings to our lives daily. I pray that today, on his birthday, and every day you will bless him, draw him nearer to you and give him faith in your word.

Drum Roll Please

Cib took his first steps today! Four to be exact. And unfortunately I missed them. His sweet teacher at school, Ms. Noi informed me when I picked him up that he is walking. :( But I know I will be here for the next ones. My sweet sweet baby is a big boy now. (literally and figuratively) His new word and the one he is now calling me is kitty kat.
