Moving day!!

It is finally here - moving day! The previous owners are due to leave the house late this afternoon, early evening and we finally get to spend a night in our new home! The movers arrive tomorrow at 7 a.m. to unload our things and start helping make this our home. It has been a long adventure to this point. I know the Lord has a purpose in the trials and the blessings have not gone un-noted.

Cibbers and Bits update:
I have one word - fast. Cib can crawl faster than I can walk behind...scary! He is into EVERYTHING - no leaf unturned. He is finally losing a little weight, down to a svelte 28 pounds but getting taller by the second at just under 3 feet. He still daily more of a blessing than I could have imagined. His personality is 90% Austin's chill calm and 10% drama that he fairly got from all corners of the gene pool. He is talking constantly but the only English words are mama, dada, kit cat (kitty cat), duck, nana.

More soon!

Cib got into the chocolate while I wasn't looking

Growing Pains

Wow it has been far too long since I have made an entry. Time is simply flying in some ways and dragging by in others.

We are still in the process of closing on our house in Dallas. At the last minute we found out that the folks buying the house were not approved for their loan - joy! So we have given them an extension and hoping beyond hope to close this Friday. Prayers appreciated. If we dont close within the next week on the Dallas house - we lose the house we are trying to buy here in Houston. Ugh....Have I mentioned how much I hate moving?

Last week was Cib's first day of school - he had a blast! After a serious talking to by the teacher upon arrival, I was informed he might throw a fit or cry when I left....hhhmmm I said. I left and waved vigorously and smiled, then resumed playing with the sea of new toys. He had a great day. When I picked him up the teacher said he was a joy. My sweet boy!

More later!
