Resulted in expensive beer and tasty cedar plank grilled Salmon with
for-mentioned Quinoa pilaf. Yum-o!

Cha cha cha Changes!
Cib is loving his slide from Nana & Papa! He loves me to reach up and pull him down. He is so fearless! I can almost hear the sweet giggles when I look at these pictures.
Our sweet boy is growing up into a (sometimes difficult) toddler, but oh so cute!
We are trying to get Cib is eat more protein. And since he really doesnt like meat, well I have had to get creative.

One of the new things we are trying to get Cib to eat is Eggs. We were successful with this great recipe from cooking light. Mine, ahem, doesnt look exactly like the recipe picture.
This delicious whole grain is packed with great protein and nutrients. He loved it for dinner tonight! I used it to make a pilaf with mushrooms, carrots and onions. Tastes like a more nutty version of couscous. Yum!

18 month stats
Well we had our 18 month check up yesterday! Cib continues to grow like a little weed. Weighing in at 32 pounds (100%) and 36 1/2 inches tall aka just over 3 feet (100%) he is a baby giant!
Cib got his second hair cut today. And his first lolli pop yesterday - which he LOVED!
He is talking up a storm!
Some of his new words:
Hop ee - Help Me
Bird - Big Bird or just a bird
Up Up! - Climbing stairs
Slide
Dip - the boy is a product of his upbringing and loves dip of any sort!
Mango - not sure, he just broke it out a couple days ago.
Five Five - High Five
Osc-Oscar the Grouch
Dora - Dora the Explorer (Yes, my child loves tv, dont judge)
Cup Cup - His sippy cup
Woof Woof - Dog
Whoo Whoo - Train
Hug - for hugs given or received
And my favorite - MOMMA! Which he says anytime he sees me, wants me, etc.
I hope everyone is having a good new year and enjoying all this gorgeous weather! We are spending most our days at the park. Cib insists on climbing to the tallest big kid slide and going down backwards on his belly....Whheeeee! He is 100% boy!

Now THAT is a nap!
We are in the process of getting over croup, again and finally taking
away the 'pop'. ( paci )
away the 'pop'. ( paci )
After I snipped the end of the pop off, the screaming began. And
didn't really stop. Finally he started screaming 'hop ee momma' which
is help me. So I gave in and rocked him to sleep, now I am prisoner to
my sleeping angel. Sweet dreams Bits.

Christmas, Finally
Well I know it has taken me for-eva, but here it is - Cib's second Christmas!
So we will start from the beginning - The 8th Annual Christmas Party
This was something we missed terribly while we lived in Dallas. Hosting our friends who are so close to our hearts.

Cib checking out baby Caroline.
We hosted Christmas Eve dinner & Gingerhouse building -
What a blast! Both our families were there and it made our Christmas complete!

Nana's house collapsed due to too much holiday spice!
Santa made a special Granny Nanny delivery while we were at church.
Cib was recovering from croop over Christmas break
and his breathing treatments provided lots of snuggle time for him and Nana!
This helps express our Christmas - Full of the giggles of our sweet miracle!
