I am currently feeling blogger challenged! I have been trying to get this post up for a week!

Vermont was amazing! The weather and foliage was beautiful! Thank you Uncle Bernard for the Southwest passes!

Our first mission when arriving in Albany, NY was food! We stopped in Troy, NY. I can't say it was the best experience of upstate NY but well - they are New Yorkers, bless their hearts. - wink

This made me think of my mom - Nana!

All of the northeast is covered in these beautiful old churches!

After walking for three miles me found a place that had not closed due to recession - it was really sad. But the pizza wasnt too bad.



We stayed in Newfane and West Dover. The Wine festival was in Wilmington
These are similar to the painted cows we had here in Texas a few years ago.

Weekend of Fall Fun!

This past weekend was great fun! We went to Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Ed's (Austin's sister and her husband) for the Texas game and a shower for baby Caroline! I got to see some friends I havent seen in a while - it was good for the soul!

Wow! I feel L-O-V-E-D!!!

My sweet husband, my two bestest friends - Natasha and Heather threw me a FAB birthday party this weekend!!!

The Food was Delicious!

The drinks were tasty!

The jello shots aka Amber Slammers were strong!

Precious Friends who make magic happen!

And all the way from Dallas too!

The flowers were gorgeous!

I had my man on my arm!



These three left no detail out - it was awesome!

Most importantly - we shook our groove thang!



It was by far, the best birthday party EVER! Thank you guys so much!

And thank you Nancy for my sweet birthday lunch with just us girls!

All in all it has been an amazing couple days!

Momma Sings

Well, Missy over at http://itsalmostnaptime.blogspot.com/ is doing another blog carnival and I thought I would add my two cents.

The question - favorite songs to sing to your kiddos.

Well I usually sing something my mom made up and sang to him from the moment he arrived:

Who Loves Baby Cib


Who Loves, Baby Cib?
Mommy Loves her baby Cib

Who Loves, my Baby Cib?
Daddy Loves My baby Cib

and so on...you get the idea.

We have also made songs/hymns part of our bed time routine.

So for naps it is

Isiah 43

And for bed time at night it is Come Thou Fount. This is the link to Cib's Baptism with that song playing, I still cry when I watch it.
